Since 2014, Dallas Maids has proudly partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit that offers free house cleanings to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. Now, 11 years later, we’re thrilled to deepen our commitment by becoming official Advocate Sponsors of the organization.

For over a decade, our team has donated time, energy, and compassion to help lighten the load for families during their toughest battles. This partnership has always been close to our hearts, and stepping up our support was a natural next step.

“The real reward has always been seeing the relief on a cancer patient’s face when they walk into a clean home,” says Greg Shepard, founder of Dallas Maids. “Cleaning for a Reason gives us the opportunity to do what we do best – help people – when they need it most. Becoming an Advocate Sponsor was a no-brainer for us.”

On this rainy day we ordered our shirts from Cleaning for a Reason! We ordered our shirts for October Bringing Cancer awareness today.

We are beyond elated to have partnered with #cleaning4areason and to be able to provide free cleanings to warriors.

If you haven’t heard about it before, Cleaning for a Reason is an amazing initiative. It provides free home cleaning services to patients battling cancer. Cleaning for a Reason has been helping cancer patients since 2006.

They have partnered with many cleaning companies for help, including Dallas Maids. We’ve been part of this initiative since 2014.

We’re grateful and honored to give back to our community in the Dallas area. Especially for patients going through such difficult times for the past 5 years, and hopefully for many more years to come!

A clean home is so important, especially when you have a serious illness. You need to minimize any risk of bacteria, mold or any other microbe growing on your surfaces.

Besides, a clean home is also important for mental health. Research has shown the impact of a clean home in mental health.

When you are going through a hard time, the last thing you want to think about is having a messy home. You just don’t have the time or the energy to take care of these things.

Not only is this an opportunity to help those in emotional and financial distress. It also gives the possibility to bring cancer awareness. We want our customers to stay healthy and happy.

The Russ Martin Show Listeners Foundation

Eighteen years after the senseless act that stunned the world, we would like to honor the men and women who have lost their lives protecting Dallas and Fort Worth Families by raising money for The Russ Martin Show Listeners Foundation. This will make a positive difference in their families’ lives.

The Listeners Foundation was founded in 2002. They immediately started providing financial aid to families of Dallas police and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

Says Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle,

“I get emotionally moved by what Russ does. Gets me misty-eyed just talking about it.”

When Gang Unit Corporal Norm Smith was shot while serving a warrant, Martin wrote Smith’s widow, Regina, a $30,000 check. And in 2005, Martin’s charity kept Officer Jackson’s widow from losing her home. Ms. Jackson said,

“The city benefits come too slow. Without Russ I wouldn’t have been able to pay our mortgage.”

We want to do something amazing today and tomorrow! Therefore, Dallas Maids is donating a portion of the proceeds from Deep Cleanings and Move In/Out Cleanings ordered within the next 48 hours to make a difference in the families who lost their loved ones in the line of duty. The donations will be for the following cleanings:
