First you will need to clean the grout with either a wax stripper or a heavy-duty cleaner. Use a grout brush to scrub it thoroughly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you run into any really tough stains you can use a bleaching cleanser on the affected grout. Once the grout is as clean as you can get it, make sure you rinse it completely to remove product residues. Let it dry completely then apply a masonry sealer over the dry grout so it won&#8217;t stain so easily in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cleaning-colored-grout\"><strong>Cleaning Colored Grout<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should avoid using bleach based products on colored grout. Instead use a heavy duty cleaner and scrub the grout with your grout brush to get it as clean as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For any super stubborn stains you can use a one part bleach to five parts water mixture but just be aware that this could possibly affect the color of your grout. Again, rinse it well and let it dry before applying a masonry sealer to make future cleanings a piece of cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mildew-stains\"><strong>Mildew Stains<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mildew is not only unsightly, it&#8217;s unhealthy! Luckily it&#8217;s not impossible to get rid of mildew stains on your grout, you just need to mix a solution of 1 part chlorine bleach to 5 parts plain water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply the solution to the entire affected area and scrub it with a grout brush until the stains disappear.
